Stouffville Softball success

Local girls bring home medals after provincial softball competitions in August.

The Stouffville Sharks U11 & U13 Girls Select Fastpitch teams competed in the OSSTA Provincial Championship Tournaments.

Both teams brought home hardware, among many other memories and recognitions.

The U11 Sharks, lead by coaches Jason, Greg, Ryan, and Marcus, battled it out in Etobicoke, among 20 other teams from Ontario.

The team earned their way to a silver medal finish, something this team would never have imagined a year ago.

They worked hard all season, training and developing into the strong team they have become.

The U13 Girls, led by coaches Ivan, Ian, Marcus and Jason, travelled to North Bay to verse 24 teams from across the province.

The U13 Sharks (main photo) came out on top, bringing home the gold. This group of girls have been together for four years, and their strength as a team is undeniable.

Both teams feed from the Whitchurch Stouffville Softball Association House League Division.
