Main Street Stouffville will be groovin’ on July 2 with this year’s Village’s Rock’n’Roll Car Show, adding to the excitement of the long-awaited return of the Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival weekend.
“We are delighted to bring this event to the Village of Stouffville during the Canada Day long weekend,” said Karen Wootton, executive director of Stouffville Chamber of Commerce. “Just steps away from the festival, the Rock‘n’Roll Car Show will be a fantastic addition to what is shaping up to be a marquee weekend in Stouffville.
“There’s no better place to be on the July long weekend, than Stouffville.”
The Strawberry Festival kicks off on July 1 with many activities including the Canada Day Fireworks and keeps rolling all weekend long at Memorial Park.
The Village’s Rock’n’Roll Car Show, in partnership with the Markham Stouffville Cruisers, is sure to be the strawberry on top of the ice cream sundae of an amazing weekend. This family-friendly is scheduled for July 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It will showcase the music of the 1950s and 1960s, an impressive collection of vintage cars, an Elvis impersonator, children’s activities, multiple street vendors and more.
Main Street between O’Brien and Park will be closed to traffic for this event.
