SDSS students enjoy educational trip to Japan

It’s always been known that immersing into another culture by visiting the country is a great way to learn.

51 students and 8 teachers from Stouffville District Secondary School recently did just that. They went on a 9-day STEM trip to Tokyo.

The group visited Mount Fuji, JAXA space agency, Rinkai Disaster Prevention Park, Miraikan Science Museum, Tokyo Skytree (which is taller than CN Tower), Yamanashi Maglev Exhibition Hall Hamarikyu Garden, Imperial Palace and even participated in a traditional tea ceremony.

The students posed for a photo in front of Gundam Robot in Odaiba, Tokyo.
