Santa Claus is coming to town
As Santa Claus prepares for his annual visit, the Town of Stouffville is offering safety tips to help everyone enjoy the Santa Claus Parade safely.
The parade takes place on Saturday, Dec. 7. It starts at 6 p.m. at Ninth Line and heads east on Main Street to Park Drive.
Paradegoers should remain behind the curb while viewing the parade to ensure a clear path for parade participants. Choose one side to watch from and avoid crossing the street while the parade is in motion. Parade marshals, security personnel, bylaw officers and York Regional Police will be along the route to assist, and paradegoers are advised to follow their directions. Finally, giveaways will be handed out to those who remain behind the curb. Paradegoers shouldn’t enter the street to collect them.
