Library develops new strategic plan, promotes Lendery program
Stouffville Library is calling on the community to help plan its next chapter. The library is developing a new strategic plan to guide services from 2025 to 2028, and is inviting community members to help shape what comes next.
Whether it’s programs for children, services for newcomers, digital access, or welcoming spaces to connect, your input will directly impact Stouffville Library’s priorities for the next three years.
There are several ways to get involved. You can complete a short online survey, which is open until June 6, attend an in-person engagement session, or simply stop by the library to share your thoughts with staff. Every comment received helps ensure that services reflect the values, goals, and aspirations of the people being served.
And while you’re helping plan for the future, why not enjoy the outdoors too? The Library’s Adventure Zone (starting May 24) returns an outdoor extension of the Lendery program, where families can borrow bikes, sports gear, and other outdoor equipment at no cost. All you need is your library card.
To complete the survey or explore Adventure Zone hours, visit stouffvillelibrary.ca or call 905-642-7323.
