Celebrate Year of the Snake at CF Markville

You’re invited to celebrate the Year of the Snake at Cadillac Fairview (CF) Markville, which will usher in the Lunar New Year with cultural performances like Chinese dances, traditional eye dotting ceremonies, and dragon and lion parades.

Trilingual talk show hosts Winnie, Anthony and Ty (Happy Trio) from A1 Chinese Radio will return to host and perform at the festivities, which take place Saturday, Feb. 1 from 2 to 3 p.m. and will also feature green grabbing and a special appearance from the God of Fortune.

The shopping centre will be decorated with new floor decals featuring this year’s Chinese zodiac sign and guests can enjoy an oversized game of ‘Snakes and Ladders’ as part of the celebration’s virtually-enhanced interactive décor. The centre will also host the return of CF’s ‘supertrees’ – immersive décor inspired by Singapore Marina Bay’s giant vertical gardens.
