OVH celebrates Honoured to Care Award recipients

Oak Valley Health (OVH) is celebrating the people who help bring its honoured-to-care culture to life through the organization’s Honoured to Care Awards.

The awards recognize staff, professional staff, and volunteers who embody OVH’s core values of respect, trust, commitment, compassion, and courage—principles that guide the organization’s mission to deliver an extraordinary patient experience.

Staff, patients, families, and the community were invited to submit nominations for staff, professional staff, and volunteers who best demonstrated the organization’s core values. Individuals, groups, and even entire teams were nominated across Markham Stouffville Hospital, Uxbridge Hospital, and the Reactivation Care Centre.

The awards highlight the entire organization, touching every part of the care journey. They recognize the invaluable contributions of all staff — clinical, support, administrative, and beyond — whose collective efforts ensure exceptional care. Aligning with Oak Valley Health’s 2024–2029 Strategic Plan, this recognition highlights its dedication to empowering its people and strengthening the culture they are building together.
