With fall around the corner, the library team is excited for a chance to turn another page, start a fresh chapter, and try something different.

The library has many fun programs to help our community embrace back-to-school, new beginnings, and seasonal celebrations.

The library will be opening on Sundays beginning September 11 from noon to 5 p.m.

Beginning September 12, families can join the in-person PJ Storytime from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  This is a free program that runs until Wednesday, September 26, but registration is required.  Registration can be done via WS Play Online using barcode 24204.

The library has a free, in-person, Human Library program scheduled for September 24 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A Human Library encourages customers to check out a person for a 10 to 15-minute chat to learn more about their career, life story, or perspective.  Human Libraries have been hosted throughout the world and are a unique way for people to connect and learn more about the lives of others.

Finally, the library will be holding events and programs from Monday, September 26 to Thursday, September 29 in advance of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation/Orange Shirt Day on September 30.

“We look forward to welcoming the community back to explore our programs and services,” CEO Margaret Wallace said.
