Summer reading club returns

The Stouffville library is ready to help you find your next summer read, TV show or film to watch, or program to participate in.

Drop by the library during open hours to pick up the summer program guide, filled with programs and events to make this summer the best yet.

TD Summer Reading Club is reading fun for everyone. It is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading club for kids of all ages, interests, and abilities. This free program is co-created and delivered by more than 2,000 public libraries across Canada. It celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators, and stories and is designed to inspire kids to explore the fun of reading their way: the key to building a lifelong love of reading.

Kids can get ready to Go to the Stars, as the 2024 theme is all about space. Over the summer kids can earn raffle tickets for logging in their reading times, completing weekly activities, and writing book reviews. These tickets can be submitted for a chance to win any of the prize options online each week.

The program runs at the library until August 24.
