Stouffville Chamber launches new Health & Wellness Symposium

The Greater Stouffville Chamber is launching a new event that will bring local businesses, wellness professionals and community members together to focus on health and well-being.

The Chamber’s inaugural Health & Wellness Symposium will take place Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Stouffville Legion. Organizers expect more than 300 attendees for a day of education, networking and wellness-focused programming.

“The Health & Wellness Symposium will provide an important platform for education, collaboration, and awareness while highlighting the incredible health and wellness professionals and organizations serving our region,” said Chamber President Indu Bains. “Over the past several years, the Chamber has seen a steady increase in businesses from the health and wellness sector joining our membership. It was important that we recognized this growing sector and the vital role it plays in supporting the well-being of our residents, employees, and businesses. This event will provide both members and non-members with an opportunity to showcase their products and services.”

The Health & Wellness Symposium adds to the Chamber’s growing calendar of signature events and reflects its ongoing focus on supporting local businesses through education, networking, advocacy and community engagement.

“One of the reasons I joined the Chamber was its commitment to finding new and innovative ways to support local businesses while creating opportunities for the broader community to connect through accessible, free events,” said Executive Director Wendy Kadlovski. “This symposium is a perfect example of that vision in action.”
