The Stouffville Celebrates Summer Series features an incredible line-up of free summer concerts and events. Presented by telMAX, this year’s summer series promises to deliver unforgettable experiences for residents and visitors alike.
The highlight of the town-hosted series is the Stouffville Ribfest in Memorial Park, which will take place from Friday, August 11 to Sunday, August 13. The festival is set to kick off with Canadian country music singer and songwriter, Ben Hudson, known for his heartfelt lyrics. Joining him on Friday night will be the talented Alessia Cohle, who is putting her own stamp on the country music scene. On August 12, the renowned Shawn Desman, a Canadian icon and Juno Award winner, will captivate the audience with his platinum-selling hits. Opening for Desman is the sensational Alyssa Reid, whose debut single “Alone Again” soared to the top of the charts. Throughout the festival, attendees will also be treated to performances by Alexa Goldie, the Motown Boys, and Matt Wilson.
The Stouffville Celebrates event schedule also includes the much-anticipated Music in the Park on June 23 in Memorial Park. Headlining this event is the Juno-nominated singer-songwriter, Aysanabee, whose enchanting melodies and soulful lyrics have garnered critical acclaim. Music in the Park, formerly known as Food Truck Frenzy, will feature a tantalizing food truck alley, offering a diverse range of culinary delights, providing an immersive dining experience alongside the fantastic musical performances. This event is made possible in part by the support of the York Region Tourism Fund.
The 19 on the Park Patio Series, a beloved summer tradition, will return this year with four free concerts held in Civic Square. The series commenced on June 16 with the singer-songwriter Conor Gains. Fiddlestix will grace the stage on July 22, followed by the performance of the Blackboard Blues Band on August 19. Concluding the series on September 15 is the renowned singer-songwriter Amanda Rheaume.
