‘Something for everyone’ at summer day camps

The Town of Stouffville has opened summer camp registration and promises the day camps are about much more than filling up your child’s calendar.

Rather, they’re about building a sense of community, providing kids with a chance to connect with their peers as they learn valuable life skills and create lasting memories in a safe, inclusive fun environment, it assures.

“Once again, our programming team has put together an incredible breadth of offerings catering to different interests, abilities and age groups,” says Mayor Iain Lovatt. “From sports and arts to science and nature, there truly is something for everyone.”

It’s easier than ever to plan your child’s activities. “This year, we have introduced a Summer Camps Guide, which serves as a planning tool for parents,” says Commissioner of Community Services Rob Braid. “By creating this directory of sorts, we are making it easier for residents to understand the broad range of programs available so that they can maximize their child’s camp experience.”

Check out the Summer Camps Guide at townofws.ca/camps. Residents and non-residents can register at townofws.ca/active or at the Stouffville Leisure Centre at 2 Park Dr.
