Help shape Stouffville’s future at Town Hall meetings

Do you have questions you’d like to ask your municipal councillor? Do you want to raise concerns, offer suggestions and/or provide feedback on Town of Stouffville initiatives?

You’re invited to do just that at a series of Town Hall meetings that will take place in each of the municipality’s six wards.

“Community engagement is a top priority for our Council,” Mayor Iain Lovatt says. “These Town Hall meetings provide a platform for residents to actively participate in shaping the future of their Stouffville. We encourage all residents to join us and share their thoughts, questions and ideas.”

Ward 1 Coun. Hugo Kroon will host a meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. at Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum and Community Centre at 14732 Woodbine Ave. Ward 2 residents can join Coun. Maurice Smith at a Town Hall meeting on Monday, March 18 at 7 p.m. at Ballantrae Community Centre at 5592 Aurora Rd. Ward 3 Coun. Keith Acton invites constituents to attend a meeting on Monday, March 4 at 7 p.m. at Stouffville Leisure Centre at 2 Park Dr. in the multipurpose room.

Ward 4 residents can meet Coun. Rick Upton on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall at 111 Sandiford Dr. Ward 2 Coun. Richard Bartley invites constituents to ask questions and provide feedback on Monday, March 25 at 7 p.m. at the 55+ Club at 6240 Main St. Finally, Ward 6 residents can join Coun. Sue Sherban on Wednesday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at Stouffville Leisure Centre at 2 Park the multipurpose room.
