Small business conference connects Stouffville entrepreneurs
The town of Stouffville is hosting The Resilient Entrepreneur: Ontario’s Small Business Conference on October 19 and 20. Held at 19 on the Park, the event is open to entrepreneurs and small- to medium-sized business owners and will focus on building business resilience, growth, and long-term success.
Town staff will talk about how Stouffville is preparing to support businesses through the revitalization and beyond, and how to do business with the town.
The two-day agenda will feature learning and networking opportunities, with sessions led by organizations including Julie Perkins from Startup Lab at Wilfrid Laurier University on preparing businesses for downtown revitalization.
Locally, Stephanie Simpson from YSpace, York University’s entrepreneurs and innovation hub, will speak on business resilience and growth strategies.
The conference will bring together entrepreneurs, industry experts, business support organizations, economic development professionals, and municipal leaders, creating opportunities for local businesses to network and collaborate.
