On June 5, the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre turns 50.
For this exciting milestone, the museum team is providing a fun and educational activity box for children to enjoy in the comfort of their homes.
Do you know any little archaeologists or paleontologists? Anyone with a green thumb or a knack for direction? Each of these boxes come with five exciting activities.
Explore history at home with themed activities including archaeology, Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics, fossils, map making and early settler farms.
Each activity includes detailed plans and all the materials you’ll need to complete them (except basic stationary and utensils).
All wrapped up in a neat package, these boxes are available to residents and non-residents, and would even make for a fantastic porch drop-off surprise for someone else.
Registration is now open through WSPLAY barcode 17688. Recommended ages: 4-12. $25.00+HST per box. Physically distanced pick-up at the Museum on June 5.
