Library unveils new name, logo

Stouffville Library, formerly known as Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library, has unveiled a new logo and name as part of a rebranding initiative meant to reflect its commitment to evolving with the community it serves.

“Our new logo and name represent a transformative chapter for Stouffville Library,” says CEO Margaret Wallace. “We are redefining what it means to be a community library – creating a dynamic, inclusive space where imagination thrives, ideas blossom and everyone feels welcome.”

The new logo features an eye that symbolizes personal discovery and the pursuit of knowledge, a keyhole that represents the unlocking of new opportunities and potential, and confetti to celebrate diversity, joy and community spirit. “Together, these elements encapsulate the Library’s vision of being a dynamic centre of creativity, learning and engagement,” the Library explains.

Stouffville Library’s focus is to enhance quality of life, and it’s dedicated to fostering literacy, lifelong learning and community connection through innovative resources, technologies and programs. Visit www.wsplibrary.ca to learn more.
