Lavender Tea party guests support Salvation Army

The annual Salvation Army Lavender Tea “SALT” party returned this year, bringing together 53 ladies for an afternoon of friendship, community and giving.
The ladies enjoyed their annual social gathering with each other, while supporting those in need.
“We gathered a truck full of much-needed donations for the Salvation Army, a great charity,” said event organizer Ristina Ferrari. “They are always so appreciative of the items we donate.”
The Salvation Army is facing increased challenges to compete with online sellers and other consignment shops, so fewer donations are arriving at its Thrift Shops.
“A big heartfelt thank you to all the lovely ladies who supported this year’s event,” Ferrari said. “I always enjoy hosting and, yes, it is a lot of work, but, so worth the joy I receive in return.”
