Latcham Art Centre will showcase artists from the region and beyond at the Annual Juried Exhibition 2023 which will be on display from March 13 to April 22. The reception will take place on March 17 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Each year, Ontario artists are invited to submit recent works to be reviewed by a panel of esteemed jurors. From these, select artworks are juried into a diverse exhibition that celebrates the talents of the many artists.
This year, the jurors include curator and writer, Katie Lawson; artist and Assistant Professor of Studio Art at the University of Toronto Scarborough, Emmanuel Osahor; and artist, zinester and Project Coordinator, Digital Collections, at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Heather Riley.
Over $1000 in awards will be presented to select artists, including Juror’s Awards and a People’s Choice Award. Visitors to the show can cast their ballots, and the winner will be announced at the end of the exhibition.
Artwork submissions must be dropped off in person on March 7 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
