Holiday market supports Steer Friends
The 9th Annual Holiday Market, presented by Trentadue Torres Group RE/MAX All-Stars Reality, returns on December 15. The festive event will feature 35 vendors, offering everything from baked goods and jewellery to clothing, clay, woodworking, and more.
Visits with Santa and a complimentary treat from the BeaverTails food truck will bring smiles to attendees of all ages.
The market, which runs from noon to 4 p.m. at the Stouffville Legion, aims to bring joy and laughter to the community while supporting a good cause.
Donations collected at the event will benefit Steer Friends, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping disabled youth and adults through day programs. Jacqueline Hall-Fusco, founder of Steer Friends, stressed the importance of support in creating lasting change. “We adapt and create engaging activities suited to each person’s abilities, ensuring they have the chance to grow, socialize and thrive in a safe, caring environment,” she said. “Donations fund essential supplies, resources, and adaptive equipment that make our programs possible.”
