November brings a bite to the wind, a chance to put on a favourite sweater, and an opportunity to try something new at the library.
The library has many crafts to keep everyone entertained—no matter what age.
Crafty 2s, a Library program for preschoolers and their families takes place on November 4 from 10:15 to 11 a. Bring your preschooler to the library for a fun craft that will help build their artistic skills. This program is $5 and registration can be done via WS Play online using barcode 24986.
On Nov. 19 from 1 to 2 p.m., children aged 8-12 can create a masterpiece on canvas with acrylic paints. Canvas, brushes, and paint are supplied. This program is $10 and registration can be done via WS Play online using barcode 24971.
Teens can create an embroidered patch, learn to cross-stitch or bring their own clothes to mend on Nov. 16 at the Stitch and Mend program. This program is a free, drop-in program at the library for teens aged 13-19.
