Whether it’s through recreation, drama, sport, dance, civic engagement, volunteerism or leadership, young people are getting involved in meaningful ways that have real impact, the City of Markham reports.

The Markham Youth Expo, to be held at Aaniin Community Centre & Library at 5665 14th Ave. on Saturday, May 2 from 4 to 9 p.m., serves to showcase the diverse talents of youth and recognize their active participation in the community. Featured events include the Markham’s Got Talent Show, Think Tank Science Fair, a basketball tournament, outdoor games, food trucks and an opportunity to meet local youth businesses organizations and vendors. Watch for more information here
