Explore local art on the Annual Stouffville Fine Art Studio Tour

The Stouffville Studio Tour returns for its 26th year, inviting visitors to explore local art during a free, self-guided, all ages event on the weekend after Thanksgiving, Oct. 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This year’s tour features juried artists working across a wide range of styles and mediums. Visitors can experience fine art paintings, as well as handcrafted silver jewellery, fused and stained glass, flame-worked glass, raku pottery, embroidery, clothing and textiles, and works created from reclaimed materials… all while enjoying the scenic autumn colours of the countryside.
The tour connects local artists with their community by opening their studios and homes to the public. Visitors can meet the artists, learn about their creative process, and experience the artwork in the spaces where it was created. Five new guest artists have joined the tour this year, offering even more opportunities! Each tour stop also offers visitors the chance to enter a draw for a $250 gift certificate, to be used toward the purchase of artwork from your favourite artist.
“We are passionate about the arts — especially those created within our own community — and we invite you to share in that passion,” said Ray McNeice, one of the Tour artists. “We are proud to have visitors returning year after year, The tour connects local artists with the community by opening their studios and homes to the public. Visitors can meet the artists, learn about their creative process, and experience the artwork in the spaces where it was created. There is no pressure to purchase… we welcome browsing.”
