Celebrate the holiday season at Stouffville Library with programs for all ages
Families can enjoy Holiday Storytime as part of the Town of Stouffville’s 12 Days of Cheer, celebrate with stories and a craft at Hanukkah Storytime, and explore African heritage and culture through Kwanzaa Story and Craft. All three programs are free and drop-in.
Toddlers can get creative with a Special Edition Christmas Craft for children up to 36 months old. Families can also watch the library’s website for free Pop-Up Activities throughout the month. For ages 16 and older, Learn to Sew: Decorative Cushion Cover offers an opportunity to create something unique. Some programs have fees and require registration.
The holidays can be difficult when you are grieving. Adults are invited to join Evergreen Hospice’s free, registered Coping with the Holidays session to learn strategies for navigating the season.
Looking for an outdoor adventure? Borrow snowshoes from The Lendery and explore the beauty of local winter trails. Visit wsplibrary.ca/lendery for borrowing details.
The library will be open 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 24 and 31, and closed Dec. 25 and 26 and January 1.
