Library offers various Truth and Reconciliation programs

The Stouffville Library will offer the community opportunities to participate in Truth and Reconciliation programs during September.

These free programs include:

KAIROS Blanket Exercise on Sept. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Truth and Reconciliation Teachings (for ages 5-8) on Sept. 21 from 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Jean-Baptiste Lainé Site Tour on Sept. 30 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Land Acknowledgement Workshop on Sept. 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

We will begin to build a renewed relationship with Indigenous Peoples in Canada based on the recognition of rights, respect, and partnership.
