Investigators with the York Regional Police #5 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses after shots were fired in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville.
On Tuesday, July 28, 2021, at approximately 3 a.m., York Regional Police were called to a residence on Aspen Crescent for a report of shots fired.
Officers arrived and located several bullet holes in the front of the home. Fortunately no one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was described as male, white, medium build, wearing a dark-colored T-shirt and shorts. Police say that the suspect fired the shots at the home then fled in a white or grey vehicle.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward, as well as anyone with residential video surveillance or dashcam footage from the area at the time.
