Tea party tradition supports Salvation Army
The Lavender Ladies hosted another successful Salvation Army Lavender Tea (SALT) party, combining friendship and community support.
Held in mid-August, the afternoon tea brought together 48 women who shared laughter, good company, and a shared purpose—collecting 12 skids of donations for the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
“We had 48 ladies sharing laughter and good times, and we sent 12 skids to the Thrift Store,” said organizer Ristina Ferrari, who has been hosting the event for 18 years.
The group has supported the Salvation Army for the past 15 years, making the tea a beloved tradition rooted in giving back.
“Always a lovely time to share with friends and family and donate to a great cause,” Ferrari added.
Looking ahead, she is already planning next year’s event, where she hopes to collect even more donations.
