Markham-York Region Greek Festival returns in July

The Markham Greek Festival is set to return this July, bringing six evenings of authentic food, music and culture to the community.

For more than 35 years, the Church of Sts. Panteleimon, Anna and Paraskevi and the Greek Community of York Region have hosted the annual festival, offering visitors a taste of traditional Greek village life.

Each year, thousands of people attend to enjoy traditionally made Greek cuisine and desserts, learn traditional Greek dances, and experience the lively atmosphere.

The festival is scheduled for July 17 to 19 and July 24 to 26, starting at 5 p.m. and going until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and until midnight on Sundays. The event takes place at the church at 11323 Warden Ave.
