York Regional Police invites you to meet members of its canine and emergency response units and ride a mini firetruck at its annual Police and Emergency Preparedness Week Open House.
The event, held in partnership with York Region, will also feature police motorcycle demonstrations, and arts and crafts for kids.
It takes place May 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Community Safety Village at 3291 Stouffville Rd. Registration is $10 per vehicle, not per person so select one for one vehicle, regardless of the number of occupants.
Emergency Preparedness Week runs May 7 through May 13. The week is an opportunity for you to take action to ensure you’re prepared to protect yourself, your family and your community during an emergency.
