Help shutout homelessness in York Region

It is estimated that 1,400 men, women and children are homeless in York Region on any given night, but together we can change this statistic.

On December 15, many hockey players will participate in the Hockey Helps the Homeless York Region Tournament, raising awareness and funding for our local homeless support agencies, Blue Door and 360 Kids. The fundraising goal for York Region is $300,000.

There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help.

Hockey Helps the Homeless (HHTH) invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets.

HHTH helps organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but your help is needed. Be a game changer today by supporting the cause and helping bring hope to our most vulnerable.
