Give unwanted items a second life

Stouffville residents can declutter and give their unwanted items a second life during Curbside Giveaway Days.

On the last Saturday of each month, July 26, August 30 and September 27, place reusable household items curbside by 7 a.m. clearly marked ‘free’ for others to collect.

Items should be in good or repairable condition. Keep sidewalks, driveways and traffic areas clear. Respect private property and don’t walk on people’s lawns or gardens and park legally. Only take items marked ‘free.’ Remove all items by 5 p.m. to avoid bylaw violations. Consider donating unclaimed items to charitable organizations instead of placing out for waste collection.
