BARRIS DELIVERS “RUSH TO DANGER” TALK

Ted Barris will give a talk about his 19^th book “Rush to Danger: Medics in the Line of Fire”. It is the story of his father, sergeant medic Alex Barris, who waged battle to save lives in 1945 during one of the bloodiest campaigns of the US Army during the liberation of Europe. The story of his father also lead the author to learn and reveal what drives military medics, nurses, stretcher-bearers, ambulance drivers and orderlies to disregard their own well-being in order to save the lives of others.
