Chicago Transit delivers nostalgia

The unmistakable sound of horns and harmony that defined an era will fill the Markham Theatre on October 9 when Chicago Transit takes the stage.

Known as the first and longest-running Chicago tribute band in the world, the group is celebrated for its authentic recreation of Chicago’s catalogue.

With five lead singers, a five-piece rhythm section, and soaring brass arrangements, Chicago Transit transports audiences back to the soundtrack of the 1970s and 1980s.

Expect a setlist packed with anthems like 25 or 6 to 4 and Saturday in the Park, alongside moving ballads such as Hard to Say I’m Sorry. It’s a rare chance to hear these songs live, performed with the energy and precision that made them timeless.

If you like Chicago, then you’ll love Chicago Transit.
