Construction worker struck by vehicle

A Stouffville construction worker was struck by a vehicle early morning on June 30 at around 3 a.m.

Road work was underway on Stouffville Road between Warden Avenue and Kennedy Road. at the time of the accident.

One worker was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Specifics of the injuries are unknown.

Road closures were in effect at the time of the incident but have since reopened.
