Every Wednesday this month join this free CARERS program open to anybody who is caring for someone with dementia. It is an eight-week program that focuses on practical skills, program-solving techniques and communication skills through the use of simulation. Screening is necessary. The event will be taking place at Parkview Village, 12184 Ninth Line, Whitchurch-Stouffville between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
