Home for the Holidays brings Christmas cheer
The annual Markham Home for the Holidays will return to Markham Fairgrounds from November 20 to 22, bringing three days of Christmas shopping, entertainment and community spirit.
The event will feature 130 exhibitors offering a wide range of products, including apparel, ceramics, home décor, Christmas foods, candles, jewellery, pottery, pet-care products and more.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Baker Street Victorian Carollers will perform traditional Christmas favourites.
“If you love Christmas and you love the traditions associated with Christmas, then this is the show for you,” said Debra Grose, producer of Markham Home for the Holidays.
Grose said the event has become a holiday tradition for many families, with some returning year after year to shop together for unique and affordable gifts.
“We have had families shopping together for Christmas at our show for decades,” she said. “They come to the show as a family, they shop for Christmas presents until they drop, and there are thousands of Christmas gift ideas that they love to find because it is all very unique and affordable — and the best part is, it’s all Canadian.”
Visitors are also encouraged to support The Salvation Army’s Toy Mountain by bringing an unwrapped toy to the event.
