Stouffville Medical Arts clinics now accepting patients

Stouffville is getting a new medical facility following the opening of Stouffville Medical Arts. The 40,000 sq. ft. facility provides medical and healthcare services under one roof, meeting the community’s growing healthcare needs.

Larry Chen, the facility’s owner, and his son, Dr. Ryan Chen, the building’s medical consultant and lead doctor at Empyrea Medical Centre, recently invited local dignitaries and media for a tour.

“My hope is that this facility brings strong job opportunities, attracts more doctors and allied health professionals,” Dr. Ryan Chen said, “and serves as a premier healthcare hub for this area for many years to come.”

The facility will include a range of health care services. Secured tenants include family medicine, urgent care, pharmacy, dentistry, audiology, optometry, and cosmetic clinics, all of which are accepting new patients. One of the first clinics set to open later this year is Boxxed Aesthetics and Wellness, a private regenerative medical aesthetics and wellness clinic.

Stouffville council recognizes the importance of having an additional medical facility in town.

“Stouffville is a growing and vibrant community, and investments like this help ensure that important services grow alongside us,” Mayor Iain Lovatt said. “This new facility represents more than bricks and mortar– it represents greater access to care, stronger local service and a commitment ot the health and well-being of our residents.”

With the fall opening fast approaching, Stouffville residents will have more health and wellness options close to home.
