Employee charged with sexual assault at Vaughan amusement park

Investigators with the York Regional Police Special Victims Unit have charged a 19-year-old man from City of Brampton in connection with a sexual assault investigation.

It was reported that on May, 25, a youth was at an amusement park in the City of Vaughan with her friends. While the youth was boarding a ride, she was sexually assaulted by a ride operator as he conducted safety checks.

On Wednesday, August 5, the Brampton man was charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference.
