Woman suffers life-threatening injuries in two-car crash

York Regional Police are looking for witnesses to a serious collision in Whitchurch-Stouffville that left a woman with life-threatening injuries and a teenage passenger in serious condition.

At about 2:30 p.m. on June 24, officers responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Vivian Side Road and Kennedy Road, involving a blue Ford Explorer and a red Audi. The driver of the Audi, a 45-year-old Stouffville woman, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital. A passenger in the Audi, a 16-year-old Stouffville female, was taken to hospital in serious condition.

The driver of the Ford Explorer, a 19-year-old Stouffville man, was transported to hospital with minor injuries. A passenger in the Explorer, a 14-year-old Stouffville male, was not injured.
