Volunteering offers many benefits

The Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum is also looking for volunteers. Lend a hand to the museum and learn something new.

Work with the museum staff to develop special events, education, exhibits and fundraising initiatives. Or if you prefer, volunteer at 19 on the Park. You could be an usher or help out at one of the comedy events, concerts, live theatre shows, or film screenings.

You can also get involved by volunteering at special events like Art in the Park, Mayor’s Bike & BBQ, Ribfest, and the Santa Claus Parade.

Volunteering at these events gives you the opportunity to get involved in the community and meet new people.

Whether you have skills that you would like to share or you want to develop new skills, volunteering will give you exciting experiences and build your knowledge.

Volunteers of all ages can take on tasks such as assisting artists, biking on trails, greeting visitors or walking in the Santa Claus Parade. You get to work together in a team and make friends.

Join in the fun at the various events and experience volunteering with the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. For more information, contact [email protected] or call 905-640-1910 ext.2458.
