The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville will be raising the Pride flag June 4 in recognition of Pride Month.
“The Pride flag signifies that Whitchurch-Stouffville is a welcoming community,” said Mayor Iain Lovatt. “We are proud to celebrate this universal statement of inclusion and diversity and, through it, communicate acceptance that all are welcome and celebrated in Whitchurch-Stouffville.”
A public flag raising ceremony will take place on June 4 at 8:30 a.m. in front of Town Hall, located at 111 Sandiford Drive. The flag raising will take place rain or shine and all are welcome to attend.
