Supporting the frontline workers at Parkview

Parkview retirement village frontline workers feel the love from the Canadian Care Collective Fund volunteers.

The Canadians Care Collective Fund (CCCF)was founded three weeks ago by a few dynamic local volunteers (Tracey Burton, Andrea Winarski, and Anita Singh-Shetty) to feed frontline health care workers in Markham by buying food from local Markham restaurants using community donations.

Shania Bhopa, a young Stouffville resident, joined the Canadians Care Collective Fund to extend this project into our town to support the local restaurants and frontline workers. A Win-Win. Ambitious and running, we have raised $50,000+ in 21 days that we are pushing right back into our local restaurants. Parkview retirement village was the most recent recipient on May 5th, where 125 nutritiously, delicious meals made with love by Fickle Pickle – Stouffville were delivered.

The CCCF group has joined forces with The Markham Rotary Club Foundation to offer those donating over $30 an official charitable receipt. They have donated $10,000 to this initiative.

We are a community, united together to make a difference for those who always help us.

Now it’s our turn to stand up and step in. We want to celebrate with them when this COVID crisis ends.

We’re all in this together. Please donate today, visit:
