At a time when some are seeing opportunity to gouge customers with sky-high prices for products in high demand like hand sanitizer, masks, and disinfectants, there is a store taking the lead by doing the opposite.
Stouffville Pharmasave is giving away hand sanitizer and masks to the most vulnerable individuals in the community.
Older people or people with a chronic disease, such as diabetes, cancer, heart, kidney and chronic lung disease, are at higher risk of experiencing complications and have higher rates of mortality from COVID-19. These are exactly the individuals that Stouffville Pharmasave is trying to care for the most.
The pharmacy is asking the community to put them in touch with individuals that could benefit from these products.
Email the store at [email protected], if you think you or someone you know needs this type of help.
In order to observe physical distancing and further protect these individuals, the pharmacy is offering delivery and curbside pick-up.
