Stouffville Country Ribfest is back this summer

The Stouffville Country Ribfest is back for its seventh year and will feature national ribbers, live music, and more.

This year’s event will be taking place from Aug. 9-11 and will feature national BBQ pit-masters such as Sticky Fingers BBQ & Company, Uncle Sam’s BBQ Stand, Texas Rib Rangers, and Billy Bones BBQ. There will also be a couple of breweries at the festival including the Market Brewery, Amber Brewing, and Mill Street and Brickworks Cidery.

If shopping is your thing, there will be plenty of vendors at the festival marketplace. This year, there will be a mix of local vendors and businesses to serve the entire family’s shopping needs.

What else will you get to do at this year’s ribfest? Well, there will be toys and games for the younger children, face painting, an escape room from Labyrinth, Arrowsoft Sports archery tag, and more.

In terms of what entertainment you can expect, the ribfest will be jam-packed with up-and-coming country artists, classic rock covers, and top 40s. For the second time this year, the winners from Stouffville’s Got Talent will also be showcasing their talents on the stage.

“This annual event is one of Stouffville’s most highly attended traditions, and it brings summer festival fun to Memorial Park,” said Julia Jackson, special events coordinator for the town. “Over 25,000 visitors can enjoy the midway and marketplace, varied food trucks, live music and entertainment, craft breweries, and of course, world class ribbers.”

Admission for the Stouffville Country Ribfest will be by donation, and all proceeds will go towards supporting community events.
