Tiny Seedlings 5th Annual Shamrock Skate takes place March 14.
This event has brought thousands of childrenout to participate in physical activity with their loved ones on the ice at the Stouffville Ninth Line Arena.
Parents, grandparents and guardians alike have reaped the benefits of skating, while participating in the many activities which have included LEGO building, magic shows, painted pottery, sports coach active sessions and the skate of course features Stouffville’s talented hockey players from our OJHL hockey team Stouffville Spirit and Stouffville Clippers
Tiny Seedlings brings in student volunteers from the local schools to help with the families on site and instil even more community spirit as well. “Integrating physical activity for family fun is what we’re all about,” says Shana Daniel, director of Tiny Seedlings. “Watching our members who’ve grown with us over the years is pure inspiration for our next events too,” says Darlene Shaw, media relations of Tiny Seedlings. This year, Crockadoodle Stouffville will be delighting the kids with painted pottery as a planned activity on site at this event.
The skate is conveniently planned on the Thursday during March break from 1-4pm at the Stouffville Ninth Line Arena.
