Calling all young artists, The Latcham Gallery’s art studio is the place to paint, draw, sculpt and print-make this March Break. Camp days will guide kids ages 5 to 11 in exploring their creativity and making their ideas come to life with paint, paper, clay and mixed media.
The Latcham Gallery is offering five days of camp taught by professional art educators in the art studio. Each day is different, so you can register for one or two days, or all five. The cost is $50/day and pre-registration is required.
Artist educators Jessie Jakumeit and Anna Bouzina are sure to inspire. Both are professional artists and art instructors who love to help their students learn, grow, experiment and play.
Jakumeit is a practicing artist who studied Visual Arts at the University of Victoria. She has experience teaching art for the Royal BC Museum, Two Rivers Gallery, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria and the CMA School of Art and Music.
Bouzina completed her B.F.A and B.Ed. at York University and is a recipient of numerous art awards. She has experience teaching children and youth at Toronto District School Board, The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery and Harbourfront Centre Camps.
