Lifelong Learning Stouffville, the local edition of the wildly popular adult education series is back. Due to the 2018 edition being a sold-out success, the fall 2019 session has had to move to a bigger venue to accommodate the tide of curious learners that come to hear experts on a variety of subjects.
This year the East Ridge Mission Church at 10th Line north of Stouffville Rd. will play host to six Lifelong Learning events – most on Mondays until November 25th, with only the first one on October 22 being on a Tuesday so as not to compete with the federal election.
Topics include a historical look at the domestic role of women in the Second World War effort and a critical look at the workings of the aging brain. Other topics include the history of dance in the movies, a look at religion in Shakespeare, and a look at the pivotal role the spouses of Canadian Prime Ministers have played in the shaping of our country.
Registration will open on September 16 online only and must be for the full six lecture series. There is no Registration for individual lectures.
