Joy of browsing the library collection returns

The Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library (WSPL) will open stage three of its phased reopening plan on August 25.

“We are so excited to fully re-open our doors to our community,” says Margaret Wallace, WSPL Chief Executive Officer.

Customers will be able to browse the library collections, use computers, book study rooms, access photocopying and printing services, and pick up holds.

As a courtesy to others who wish to use the library, patrons will be asked to keep visits to one hour or less. Physical distancing measures, hand hygiene, and mandatory face coverings are required as per York Region public health guidelines.

The library’s phase three hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The library will be closed on Sunday and Monday.

Library items can be returned through the external book drop. All returns are quarantined for 96 hours.
