Enjoy a summer of food and film

Following on the heels of last year’s successful Movies in the Park, this summer the Town is hosting another six family-friendly movies, including Beauty and the Beast (June 16), The Princess Bride (June 23), Sing (July 21), Moana (July 28), Finding Dory (August 18) and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (August 25).

Vince’s BBQ will be on site to provide summer treats. These free events begin at 9pm at the Pavilion. Bring a blanket and some chairs.

This year, two Food Truck Frenzies will take place in Memorial Park. On June 22 and Sept. 15, plan to be at the park between 5pm-9pm to enjoy a relaxed space where the whole family can enjoy samplings from some of the over 20 featured food trucks.

On June 22, the headline act is the Canadian alt-rock band Amberwood. With their tasteful rock roots and unmatchable stage presence, this is an event not to be missed.

Stacey Renee takes the stage at Food Truck Frenzy for the second year in a row. Renee has rocked the stage at Copps Coliseum, Ontario Place, Canada’s Wonderland. Her electric pop/rock performances and unique vocal styles are sure to make her a crowd favourite.
