The annual Santa Claus Parade, organized by the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, was the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season with your family.
This festive tradition is a time to believe in magic for kids of all ages.
The parade featured stationary floats to allow residents to stay warm while enjoying this year’s drive-thru version to keep people safe as we continue to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
Local leaders bundled up warm and joined the many other parade participants in spreading cheer and warmth to the hearts of the children driving by the many floats. MPP Paul Calandra participated along with Mayor Iain Lovatt and MP Helena Jaczek.
“I want to acknowledge and thank the town for all the hard work that has gone into the parade this year,” Calandra tweeted. “The Santa Claus Parade marks the beginning of the holiday season and is something I know I look forward to every year.”
It’s no surprise that the parade was a sold-out event and residents united in a festive spirit to show how strong our community is when we stick together while safely being apart.
A big thanks goes out to the parade’s Santa Sponsor-Mitchell Atkins Real Estate, Music Sponsor-Stouffville Toyota and Gold Sponsor-Country Casa.
