The revolving CAO door keeps moving as Rob Raycroft prepares to resign his interim CAO position, choosing to stay on as director of leisure and community services.

Raycroft will continue in the role until February as the town works on filling the position. He added the interim CAO role to his director position back in May after fire chief Rob McKenzie vacated the interim CAO position within the first month on the job citing that the role needed more support than was available to him.

At that time, McKenzie was filling the void as previous CAO Marc Pourvahidi was on a leave of absence. He has since been officially relieved of his duties and the search for a full-time CAO continues.

Pourvahidi was promoted to CAO in 2015 when the previous CAO Andrew McNeely was put on administrative leave. McNeely later resigned.

Council will be heading back to the table to work on filling the CAO role.
